Dear Church Family,
We can all relate to the part of scripture that does talk about finding that which was lost. We’ve all lost things; car keys, glasses, cell phones, important papers, unpaid bills, and (occasionally) even those that we love. When someone or something is lost to you it frustrates you, gnaws at you, and forces you to go to extremes in order to find them. So, obviously, when they are found, at long last, you’re naturally full of joy and want to celebrate. That’s what Jesus was explaining to the Pharisees and the scribes in our scripture today; that feeling of elation when something that was lost is found. Especially, when that something is someone who’s never known God, or someone who has walked away from him. Tune in to hear the rest of today’s message.
Blessings,
Pastor Rick
