Today’s service tells the story of the Passion of Christ. As you hear it please remember how shocking and unexpected it was to everyone except those elite members of the Temple who set out to get rid of Jesus. How devastating it had to be to those that believed Jesus to be the Messiah; the Son of God. They must have been shaken to their core wondering how this could possibly have happened.
Also reflect on all that he suffered on our behalf. Taking on our sins as his own, so that we may be called children of God. His love for us was/is so great that he willingly gave his life, so that we may have life everlasting. Please contemplate these amazing facts as you join us for today’s service.
